SPONSOR AND Media Partner OPPORTUNITY
Partnering with Africa International House USA, Inc. (AIH) offers a simple yet high-impact way to showcase your company’s commitment to a substantial multicultural audience that delivers strong urban demographics and specifically targets the African-American market with the buying power of over 40 billion—in Chicago alone.
During any given year, AIH presents culturally diverse, educational, and entertaining programming suitable for the entire family. Our flagship program, the African Festival of the Arts (AFA), is presented during the traditional Labor Day Weekend (Friday to Monday) on the south side of Chicago in Washington Park. The African Festival of the Arts attracts an annual multicultural audience of tens of thousands. The festival’s audience is cosmopolitan, educated, and loyal to the companies and businesses that support this vital community festival.
Participating sponsors can effectively advance their corporate responsibility initiatives among a highly desired and important population. Sponsors can also achieve company objectives to significantly increase product/service awareness, visibility, and sales through our uniquely targeted advertising, product promotion, marketing and public relations efforts.

While most Festival goers come to shop, all stay for the fun and entertainment. One 2022 Festival attendee exuberantly proclaimed, “the talent this year was the best ever”! Main Stage performances reflected the global Black music expression starting with Ken Bedford’s, festival favorite, Stepper’s Set and Chicago’s Empress of Soul Terisa Griffin. Nigeria’s Rema and P-Square dominated the stage Saturday with an Afro-pop explosion followed by riveting gospel performances by the Chicago Mass Choir and Erica Campbell on Sunday. The holiday weekend closed with the jazz sound of South Africa’s Johnathan Butler and R&B sensation SWV (Sisters with Voices).
That spirit of love and generational continuity was felt throughout the festival and was warmly received by Innocent Mwaipungu a cubism artist from Tanzania. He encouraged all to take on the responsibility of building strong families and communities as a lesson learned from the African elephants he masterfully portrays in his art.
